Sustainability Programs

What children learn in their early years is critical to their lifelong learning and health. Children have a right to a sustainable future. What we educate them now about the environment will directly influence the long-term health of the planet.  Our Sustainability programs provide chances for children to experience nature develop their knowledge, respect, and value for each other and nature. Our educators have a colossal responsibility to foster children in the understanding of the importance of sustainability and the actions that needed to take to strengthen it.

At our centre,

Recyclables used in art and craft activities as open-ended materials. Educators communicated with children the nature of the materials provided and encourage creative thinking about the ways to use the materials

The educator encourages families to provide recycled materials such as wood and cardboard materials, papers, wool, cotton and plastic lids, bottles used by children, and educators for different activities.

Our Centre grows fruits and vegetables such as Celery, Carrot, Parsley, Mint, Spinach, Lettuce, Tomato, Strawberry, and Mango. Children look after these plants and once the fruits and vegetables are ready to use, children clean, cut, and cook it along with educators, shared it with their peers. At the centre children excitedly sow the seeds into the soil and follow the plant right through until it’s ready for picking. They thrilled about something that they can eat. Through these children learn about nature, value nature, respect, and protect them.
